Holy cannoli you guys. We talked to an agent yesterday evening, put the MLS listing up late that night, had our first showing at 12:30, got an OFFER! for full asking price at 4, and accepted at 5. That’s less than 18 hours! We’re over the moon. Yet I’m not one to count my chickens before they hatch, and we have to endure the 10 day option period where the home will potentially be inspected, repairs may be negotiated, and they can back out at any time. Fingers crossed all goes well!
I didn’t have enough time to implement any of the wonderful tips you guys gave me, but I went ahead and made them after the viewing (but before the offer.) I took down our wedding gallery and put the cows there (thus removing them from the tv wall), took down the board with the clipped in pics under the 3 large images and stashed away our toothbrushes. So if things do go south, the house will at least be show-ready.
We’re shocked things moved so quickly! Our realtor was super impressed with the staging and condition of the home. It’s not really common for this area, and we live in a small-ish town (about 25K) so homes move pretty quick if they’re in the right price bracket. Thank you all so much for your support, and hopefully all goes well!
