This coral door coffee table is probably my favorite one since our original we had in our living room. From the color, to the iron handle, to the glass insert on the top, it’s pretty awesome. And they are so crazy easy to put together. You can check out my tutorial with photos here, but really, all you do is:
– Cut off 15″ from the top and bottom for the legs (we use a circular saw for a smoother edge)
– If you have a Kreg jig, use it to drill pocket holes and attach legs to base with 2″ screws. If you don’t, you can drill into them from the top down. You can fill the holes if you want to paint, or add a decorative plug.
– Add L-brackets for stability
And that’s it! They take maybe 15 minutes total to put together. And they’re so different from what you normally see as a table. So if you happen to run across an old door, take it home and see what you can do with it. Even if you don’t want one for your house, these are my biggest seller. You’re sure to find someone to take it off your hands!
